  • Improved Efficiency

    Unique to Deep Bed nutshell industrial water filters is a patented media scrubbing cycle that fully regenerates the filter media during each backwash cycle.

    • The scrubbing cycle starts automatically when the filter bed becomes loaded with contaminants.
    • Backwashing is triggered by either a change in pressure differential across the filter bed or a preset time signal.
    • The walnut shell media design uses a high-intensity mixer to vigorously agitate the media bed during the scrubbing cycle.
    • The mixer works with a rotating backwash scrubber screen to separate regenerated media from concentrated backwash fluids.
