Externalift® Screw Pump
Reliable pumping for demanding flows and solids
Move raw wastewater, return sludge and storm flows with an open screw pump designed for high-volume, low-head service. Externalift lifts liquid and entrained solids through a trough at low speed, providing gentle handling without prescreening or grinding for pump protection. This allows screening at discharge elevation, giving plants greater flexibility in headworks layout.
Pumping capacity responds to changing inlet levels while the screw operates at constant speed, accommodating variable flows with straightforward controls. Automatic lower-bearing lubrication and serviceable upper-bearing components simplify routine maintenance.
