Design Features
A set of air cylinders is connected to a pressure plate (cone). The cone creates back pressure, compressing more liquid out of the material. The air-driven cone ensures consistent dryness of discharge solids, up to the limit of mechanical dryness. The pneumatic cylinders are adjusted by a valve, allowing the operator to control the desired dryness of the solids.
The discharged solids, now free of water and in a compressed moist state (35-60% solids), can be stored long-term without emitting odors or attracting flies and other pests.
